Cardlytics, ActivePath partner for email-based transaction-driven marketing Wednesday 17 August 2011 | 10:38 AM CET

Cardlytics, a US provider of targeted advertising and transaction-driven marketing for banks, has entered a joint marketing agreement with ActivePath. The latter is the developer of the ActiveMail 2Way Email Banking System, which enables organizations to communicate and interact with customers in real-time, enabling customers to transact banking and other services from within email.

The marketing agreement between the two companies is set to enable retailers to embed offers into e-statements for banking customers to receive, view and transact within email.

ActivePath enables banks and card services companies to employ email as a bi-directional communications, sales and marketing channel. Cardlytics’ transaction marketing platform allows retailers to present offers to targeted consumers directly in their bank statement.

With this partnership, banking customers can receive enhanced offer-carrying e-statements directly into their inbox to be viewed and transacted from within in the email message, without the need to log on to the bank’s website or download the statement.
