HID Global to roll out a new sticker for contactless payments and identification cards

US electronic identity services provider HID Global has added a new mobile sticker to its product suite of contactless payment and identification cards. The sticker is expected to be on display at CARTES & Identification 2010 event in France.

The newly-announced sticker can be attached to mobile phones, a bridge to following NFC mobile payment services. Moreover, HID’s contactless payment and identification stickers are available with DESFire, MIFARE and iCLASS technologies.

In addition, HID’s sticker customization program is set to allow users to choose from several options, including printing, laser engraving, programming, artwork and contactless chip technology.

HID Global provides contact and contactless smart card technologies for the electronic identity market. The company employs a staff of over 1,900 and has customers in over 100 countries worldwide.
