Bank Muscat deploys biometric identification system

Bank Muscat has partnered with the Royal Oman Police to launch a biometric identification system.

Bank Muscat’s new biometric system is compatible with the Sultanate’s national identification card. To authenticate banking transactions at Bank Muscat branches, customers must insert their national identification card in the biometric machine and validate their identity by scanning their fingerprint on the machine.

Bank Muscat is a financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman with a strong presence in corporate banking, retail banking, investment banking, treasury, private banking and asset management.
