Mako Networks, Aperia Solutions join forces to assist with PCI DSS compliance requirements

Friday 14 June 2013 09:15 CET | News

Mako Networks, a cloud-based network management and security company, and Aperia Solutions, a provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, have joined forces to assist merchants in meeting the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Following the agreement, Aperia’s customer base of more than 175 payment acquirers, financial institutions and Independent Service Organizations (ISOs) and 3 million merchants will now have access to Mako’s technology to assist their PCI DSS compliance requirements.

Aperia Solutions will distribute the Mako System as part of Aperia’s PCI management solution, which will be resold by ISOs and payment processors to their end-user merchant base for PCI compliance, supported by Aperia’s technical service staff.

The Mako System also helps eliminate potential security faults in a merchant’s network by enforcing traffic rules and network connection types to minimize the chance of data being misdirected.
