To serve customers and their specific requirements in South America, Oberthur Technologies operates several service centers throughout the region, including one in Mexico from where over 17 million personalized secure cards were issued in 2012.

The company delivers systems development, smart cards services including payment cards, SIM cards, access cards, NFC and secure identity documents. The company also offers solutions such as the Smart PIN, where the customer receives his banking card PIN via SMS.
