As part of a three-year agreement, PayU will be rolling out ReD Shield online fraud prevention service to help its e-commerce customers across South Africa in the battle against online fraud.
ReD Shield protects payment transactions that are accepted over the internet, via mail order, telephone order or through interactive TV by constantly monitoring and analysing card activity across the globe. ReD also provides the ReD Shield fraud prevention solution to PayU’s merchants in India.
ReD delivers its payment fraud prevention and payment processing services to international clients ranging from global telecommunications to retail, travel, petroleum, banking and the e-commerce sectors. The company has offices in the UK, US, China, Australia and South Africa.
PayU processes almost 65 percent of the e-commerce transaction value in South Africa.
