Global provider of data protection services Voltage Security has entered a partnership with US-based professional services company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to jointly deliver the data protection needs of companies with extended payment supply chains and merchants with legacy infrastructure resources.

Under the terms of the agreement, both parties are expected to provide information risk protection and compliance management services for the mentioned consumers. In addition, PwC is set to provide systems integration services for Voltage data protection products, such as Voltage SecureData with encryption and tokenization capabilities.

The relationship is expected to focus on the US and North America region. In September 2010, global provider of automatic identification products ID Tech has been authorized to implement Voltage’s encryption technology into its range of POS products.
