Under the terms of the deal, Billtrust is set to link its EIPP service (Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment) with Open Scans Dynamic Receivables cash flow processing platform.
The integration of Open Scan and Billtrust enables customers to transfer billing and remittance data and have access to rules-based payment routing, short-pay functionalities, decoupled payment correlation, payment importing from lockbox/scanned/electronic sources, and others.
Billtrusts services provide paper and electronic Web delivery platform for invoicing. The SaaS solution enables customers to view bills online in standard PDF format and pay them electronically.
Open Scans accounts receivables solution suite includes the Dynamic Receivables cash flow processing platform which imports payment information from lockbox, scanned and electronic sources, and then reconciles that data. Finally, it exports validated data to ERP systems, financial institutions and receivables archives.
In recent news, Billtrust has introduced EmailPlus, a service which combines e-mail delivery and the receiving of electronic payment and remittance information.
