Under the terms of the deal, BlueKite is set to provide its cross-border bill payment platform to the Ficohsa Express customer base in US.
Leveraging BlueKite’s current cross-border bill pay portfolio servicing Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador and Nicaragua, Ficohsa Express is set to provide its clients with a product offering which is set to allow them to pay for their family’s utilities and telecommunication bills back in their home countries by means of remittances.
BlueKite provides a web-based platform that allows consumers to make real-time cross border bill payments around the world. Some of the bill-payment services available through BlueKite include electricity, gas, water, internet, cable, fixed and mobile phone and financial services.
Ficohsa Express was founded in 2001 and it serves as the subsidiary of Grupo Ficohsa in the US. Ficohsa Express is focused on the service of sending and receiving cash remittances to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean and South America.
In recent news, BlueKite has extended its services to Ecuador, Nicaragua and Panama. The company has developed a technology that provides payment options to consumers who emigrated and still support friends and families back in their home countries by means of remittances.
