Google to add a "buy now" button

Wednesday 17 December 2014 09:54 CET | News

Google is planning toad a “buy now” button in Google Shopping platform, digitaltrends.com reports.

Google Shopping search results redirect consumers to ecommerce websites. If a user decides to buy online, he needs to click the link and then go to the product page on the merchant’s site. In order to secure the users’ stay on Google Shopping platform, the company mulls over introducing a more customer friendly interface for making online purchases.

Separately, Google is considering a marketing program that would allow merchants to promote two-day shipping for products purchased through its shopping service.
