Israel: Shop Direct integrates Cimagine and yRuler onto its ecommerce platform

Tuesday 6 May 2014 14:12 CET | News

Shop Direct, a UK-based ecommerce platform, has partnered Cimagine, an Israeli company specialized in augmented reality technologies, and yRuler, an ecommerce platform, actic.fr informs.

Cimagine has designed an augmented reality application which lets customers see how items of furniture, for example, would fit to the decorum of their homes.

On the other hand, yRuler has developed technology that enables consumers to virtually try products on before they purchase items in order to compare them to a fitting size model, or to items they already own.

The companies were introduced to Shop Direct by the UK Israel Tech Hub at the British Embassy in Israel.
