Korea: e-commerce exceeds USD 170 billion in Q2 2010

During the second quarter of 2010, the value of e-commerce transactions in Korea has surpassed USD 170 billion for the first time, according to english.chosun.com.

During the period under review, the total volume of online transactions during the April to June period rose by over 20 percent year-over-year and over 12 percent on-quarter, the same source indicates, citing a report by Statistics Korea. B2B e-commerce has increased by nearly 25 percent year-on-year.
