Myntra.com waves goodbye to its website, says hello to mobile

Myntra.com, an Indian e-tailer, has announced its plans to shut down its website fron 1 May, 2015 and to embrace the mobile app-based model.

Via this move, Myntra will become the first online retailers to shut down website presence, gulte.com reports. Its owner, Flipkart, wants to try the strategy on Myntra and, if successful, to apply the same strategy with Flipkart website.

In recent news, Marks & Spencer fashion retailer has been in talks for an agreement with e-tailer Myntra to sell its goods into the Indian market.
