US 2015 holiday desktop ecommerce to hit USD 58.3 billion: report

Total online retail spending for November–December 2015 will reach USD 70.1 billion, representing a 14% increase year-on-year.

Spending using desktop computers for the period under review is expected to reach USD 58.3 billion, up 9% year-over-year. These are the findings of the official 2015 holiday season report, released by global media measurement and analytics company comScore. Mobile commerce is predicted to account for USD 11.7 billion of retail spending, representing 17% of total digital commerce. In total, digital commerce is expected to account for about 15% of consumers discretionary spending.
