The Florins were created in 2010 to stimulate innovation in the transaction services industry by providing the nominees and the winners with substantial benefits to assist the promotion of their innovative products. There will be two 'Florins' awarded in 2013: 'Winner Jury Vote' and 'Winner Community Vote'.

The Florins are awarded to the winners in the Florin Award ceremony at the end of the 1st day at the EPCA Payment Summit, March 21st 2013. The winners are announced by Jury members present at EPCA Summit. Each winner is allowed a short ‘thank you’ speech.
