ANZ rolls out Transactive – Mobile app

Tuesday 3 September 2013 11:30 CET | News

Financial services provider Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ) has rolled out ANZ Transactive - Mobile, a mobile app that integrates with and acts as an extension of ANZ Transactive, ANZ’s online cash management service for corporates.

ANZ Transactive – Mobile allows corporate customers to enhance the management of their Australian and New Zealand cash management activities.

ANZ is also set to launch ‘Banking on Australia’ program, a program for ANZ’s Australian business designed to enable Australians to bank with ANZ. Transactive – Mobile is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch mobile digital devices and can be downloaded from Australian and New Zealand App stores. Customers can use the mobile app to monitor account balances, view current and prior-day transactions and approve or reject payments.

In 2003, ANZ acquired National Bank of New Zealand and has been running the two organisations on separate platforms since the acquisition. Under the terms of the acquisition, the bank was required to migrate away from the acquired brand and decided to consolidate onto the FIS platform in use within the National Bank of New Zealand.

In recent news, ANZ has launched a mobile banking and payment service in several nations in the Pacific area powered by global provider of financial services technology services Fiserv.
