Financial services technology provider Fiserv has won a contract from Thailand-based USD 47.9 billion-asset financial services provider Bangkok Bank to provide the latter with its Mobile Money service.

According to the deal between the parties, the banks customers can access the Bualuang iBanking internet banking service on their mobile phone, for account information, bill payments, funds transfer and mobile phone account top-ups. The application is available in both English and Thai languages.

Based on technology powered by M-Com, an international mobile banking and payment services developer, Mobile Money allows consumers to access their accounts using three primary mobile access channels: via mobile browser, SMS (text messaging) or using an application downloaded onto their handsets.
