BBVA Compass deploys Miteks Mobile Photo Bill Pay solution

US-based mobile imaging services provider Mitek Systems has added Global financial services provider BBVA Compass to the list of financial institutions that have deployed Mobile Photo Bill Pay which includes US Bank, First Financial Bank and City Bank of Texas.

Miteks Mobile Photo Bill Pay enables consumers to pay a bill with the snap of a smartphone or tablet camera. After a customer captures an image of a bill, Miteks technology automatically extracts relevant information from the paper bill and auto-populates the fields required to make a mobile payment.

Mobile Photo Bill Pay 2.0 features automatic image capture technology, known as Mitek MiSnap and a host of analytic and performance features.

Miteks Mobile Photo Bill Pay is part of a suite of solutions for financial services that includes Mobile Deposit, Mobile Photo Balance Transfer and Mobile Photo Document Capture. In addition, Miteks portfolio of solutions includes Mobile Photo Quoting, which enables consumers to take photos of a driver license and an insurance card to get a real-time quote for auto insurance.

In recent news, Mitek Systems has entered an agreement with Allied Payment Network, a US-based start-up focused on online payment software, to extend the availability of mobile bill payments with Miteks Mobile Photo Bill Pay service.
