C-SAM GmbH joins the French forum of mobile contactless services

International secure mobile transactions technology company C-SAM has unveiled that C-SAM GmbH, its newly established European subsidiary, has recently joined the ‘Forum des Services Mobiles Sans Contact’ (contactless mobile services forum). 

C-SAM specializes in building mobile NFC ecosystems, developing and deploying services aimed at driving the adoption of digital wallets and payments worldwide, including ISIS and Citibank in the US and Starhub in Singapore. These joint mobile commerce services assist issuers, merchants, telcos, banks, governments and other.

C-SAM provides services to carriers, financial institutions, merchants, settlement networks, healthcare providers and infrastructure providers. C-SAM has launched commercial services in the US, Japan, Vietnam, India, Singapore and Mexico.

Forum des Services Mobiles Sans Contact (Forum SMSC) was created in 2008 and it is a French government-backed association, aiming at the deployment of NFC mobile services in France. The Forum brings together telcos, financial institutions, credit card companies, transport, mobile manufacturers, chips, integrators, SIM manufacturers, services providers, SMEs and start-ups.

In recent news, MasterCard, C-SAM and Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), a Japanese printing company, have unveiled the coming launch of a white-label near field communication (NFC) mobile wallet service in Japan.
