CU Wallet taps Paydiant to power its m-wallet offering

Paydiant, a provider of cloud-based mobile wallet, has been selected by CU Wallet, a collaborative credit union owned and directed mobile payments technology provider, to power its credit-union centric mobile wallet offering.

With Paydiant, CU Wallet is set to integrate mobile wallet functionalities into its own mobile application including contactless mobile payments, e-receipts, offer redemption and cardless cash access on existing payment terminals, point-of-sale (POS) systems, ATMs and online shopping carts.

The Paydiant platform is currently deployed in partnership with a number of card-issuing banks, retailers, restaurants, merchant processors, debit/ATM networks and POS providers. Paydiants white-label platform works with existing smartphones, POS systems and payment terminals, including entry-level countertop devices.

CU Wallet is a credit union centric mobile payments service. Co-founded in 2013 by financial services entrepreneurs Paul Fiore and Kirk Drake, CU Wallet combines technology with direct credit union ownership. CU Wallet’s mobile payments platform is designed by credit unions to assist credit unions.

Paydiant is a provider of a cloud-based, white label mobile payment, cardless ATM access, offer redemption and loyalty platform that enables merchants, banks and payment processors to deploy and manage their own mobile payment and ATM access solutions under their own brand and on their own terms.

In recent news, International restaurant chain SUBWAY has selected Paydiant to power a number of mobile wallet functionalities, including mobile payment, in the upcoming release of the chains new mobile application.
