Web and mobile food delivery and takeout platform Eat24 has entered an agreement with PayPal to make the latter’s Mobile Express Checkout service available on its mobile website.

Under the agreement, the PayPal Mobile Express Checkout service is set to allow consumers to pay for Eat24 food services via their PayPal accounts.

Eat24s mobile website allows users to search for a specific cuisine, restaurant or particular dish. It remembers user preferences including favourite restaurants, payment information and past orders. Eat24s mobile site also includes live chat and order status support.

In recent news, PayPal has acquired card.io, a mobile commerce platform that allows developers to capture credit card information by using a smartphone’s built-in camera.
