Facebook has rolled out its ‘Autofill with Facebook’ mobile payment feature in partnership with PayPal, Stripe, a US-based online payment processor, and US online payment processing services developer Braintree, online media outlet TechCrunch reveals.

According to the source, the ‘Autofill with Facebook’ feature is set to appear in the JackThreads (hip clothing) and Mosaic (photo book-buying) iOS e-commerce apps.

Facebook users who have their financial information stored on Facebook are set to get the option when checking out to ‘Autofill Your Info’ with Facebook, an option that is listed under payment options as ‘Check out faster with Facebook.’

Selecting the Autofill option is set to send users to the Facebook app, where they will confirm the transaction. The users are then taken back to the original retailer and the payment is completed.

In recent news, PayPal has unveiled the launch of PayPal Beacon, a plug-in device for merchants that is set to enable consumers to make hands-free payments in a number of stores.
