Garanti launches socially-integrated mobile banking service

Wednesday 28 August 2013 13:20 CET | News

Turkish financial institution Garanti has launched a socially-integrated mobile banking suite dubbed iGaranti, in collaboration with service design agency Fjord, Design and Innovation from Accenture Interactive.

iGaranti is a mobile dashboard offering customers access to personal finance tools. iGaranti was devised specifically for mobile devices and has been built around a set of modules that aggregate wallet, savings, loans and offers much like individual apps.

Built around a set of 23 apps, iGaranti allows its mobile banking users to create their own customised banking service based on their particular needs.

Deep social integration across Facebook, Twitter and FourSquare, allows iGaranti customers to send payments to friends via Facebook, tweet relevant offers across their social networks and redeem location-based shopping offers while on the move.
