India: iKaaz launches Tap & Pay reader for mPOS transactions

Indian mobile payments services provider iKaaz has launched a new Tap & Pay reader to enable cashless transactions based on NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

iKaazs proprietary NFC reader can be plugged into any mobile phone to convert it into a mobile POS device. iKaaz also provides consumers with an NFC sticker that converts any mobile phone into an NFC-enabled phone. Consumers can make payments with a tap on the merchants NFC reader.

iKaaz provides a mobile payments platform for enterprises in developed and emerging markets to enable them to extend cashless transactions to their customers. In October 2012, iKaaz has launched a mobile payments platform for enterprises dubbed Tap & Pay.
