The IDD Mobile application enables US-based companies to make cheque deposits using Apple iPhone devices without the need to visit bank branches.
IDD Mobile is an extension to the end-to-end cheque processing service Image Deposit Direct, an internet-based remote capture solution for depositing paper cheque payments. IDD Mobile allows cheques to be deposited in real time, at the point of receipt.
IDD Mobile is part of a suite of cheque imaging services provided by JP Morgan Treasury Services, which also includes Image Deposit Direct, an internet-based remote capture service for depositing paper cheque payments and associated remittance coupons; Virtual Remit, a remote capture lockbox service which captures and transmits cheques, documents, coupons and envelopes, Image Cash Letter which records paper cheque and related payment data as images during the item capture process and transmits them for clearing and settlement; Check Deposit Return Images, an online access tool that stores return and redeposit item information and images; International Cash Letter which enables clients to receive provisional credit for their US dollar cheque deposits and the ATM Business Deposit Card which allows clients employees to make daily cheque and cash deposits at ATM’s and receive copies of deposited cheques.
