MYOB inks five-year deal with Mint Wireless

MYOB, a provider of business management, accounting, payroll and tax services in Australia and New Zealand, has signed an agreement with Australian technology company Mint Wireless for MYOB to distribute, license and integrate Mint Wireless’ mobile payment services with MYOB’s software products.

Under the agreement, Mint Wireless is set to receive an annual license fee from MYOB and a proportion of the monthly and transaction fees from the users of the mobile payment service incorporated into MYOB’s software products. The five year agreement is set to cover Australia and New Zealand.

Mint Wireless is a global mobile payments and transactions processing company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Mint Wireless has a mobile payments technology platform that enables corporate enterprises to accept credit and debit card payments on a number mobile phones, tablets and mobile devices.

MYOB is a company that supplies its software, services and support to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and public accountants. MYOBs services extend online, delivering cloud accounting products such as LiveAccounts and AccountRight Live.

In recent news, Mint Wireless has signed a wholesale agreement with Australia-based financial service provider Bendigo Bank to offer a chip and PIN-based mobile payments solution to Australian merchants, itnews.com.au reports.
