P97 Networks partners Microsoft, CGI and Panasonic to launch PetroZone m-commerce platform

Cloud-based mobile commerce and behavioral marketing services provider P97 Networks has joined forces with Microsoft, CGI, a provider of information technology and business process services, and Panasonic, a global consumer electronics provider, to launch PetroZone, a cloud-based mobile commerce and behavioral marketing platform for the convenience and fuel retailing industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, P97 is set to roll out PetroZone and a new retail fuels network leveraging software, devices and services provided by each of the partners. The PetroZone service can be deployed to bring mobile commerce and behavioral marketing to retail fuel operations regardless of their point-of-sale (POS) system or fuel dispenser configuration.

The PetroZone mobile commerce solution is a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.

PetroZone mobile commerce platform is a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) offering which connects consumers with retail fueling merchants and convenience stores across a partner ecosystem, including oil company payment networks, merchants, consumer package good companies, automotive companies and financial institutions.

In recent news, Microsoft has launched its Windows Azure-based multi-factor authentication product, previously code-named Active Authentication in its preview phase.
