Pilot POS partners with wiGroup to provide m-payments in South Africa

Pilot Software, a South Africa-based Point of Sale (POS) solutions provider, has partnered with wiGroup, a company focused on mobile transaction solutions, to provide mobile payments services to its customers.

By partnering with wiGroup, Pilot’s customers will be able to accept mobile transaction, from mobile coupons and vouchers, through to mobile rewards and loyalty programmes, using an API (Application Programming Interface).

wiGroup provides mobile payment technology to 40 000 retail lanes in South Africa.

Pilot Software is set to allow third-party applications to be compatible with its POS (Point of Sale) software.
