Polish supermarket chain to launch mobile payments service

Polish supermarket chain Biedronka is set to launch a mobile payments service for its customers.

The service is set to be based on a mobile wallet that is coupled to customers’ bank accounts. In order to make payments, the customer selects pay in the Biedronka mobile payment application, a payment code is shown and given to the cashier, the purchase is then displayed in the mobile and approved with OK.
