RBM rolls out RBMovil m-payments solution in Colombia

Colombia-based network and payment processor RBM Redeban Multicolor has entered a strategic alliance with MasterCard to launch RBMóvil device. This product allows electronic payments to be accepted through an application installed on a smartphone.

Merchants and independent professionals that are selling their services or products can begin using RBMóvil to accept payments from their clients. They need to have a smartphone such as an Android, BlackBerry or an iPhone with internet access and be affiliated to a Chamber of Commerce and RBM Redeban Multicolor.

RBM was founded in 2000 as a provider of technical and administrative services of implementation or support of banking automation and electronic funds transfers.

In recent news, Australian financial institution Commonwealth Bank has launched a bank-issued digital wallet service in Australia with MasterPass by MasterCard.
