French-based provider of payment services Ingenico has unveiled that its iSMP solution has been deployed by Metro Private Limited, a home-grown department store brand in Singapore.

This solution accepts mPOS, EMV chip and PIN, magstripe and contactless payment cards and enables customers to checkout in-store.

Ingenico is a provider of payment solutions, with over 20 million terminals deployed in more than 125 countries.

Metro is a fully owned subsidiary of Metro Holdings Limited. The retail arm currently operates a chain of four department stores.

In recent news, US mobile commerce platform provider ROAM Data, a subsidiary of Ingenico, has been selected by Southwestern Advantage, an international education and character development company, to power its mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solution.
