Wednesday 7 October 2015 00:36 CET | News

Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) has expanded the merchant list on its mobile payment app Dash to include leading online retailer Lazada Singapore.

The expansion comes in the wake of the helloPay partnership, a fintech platform of Rocket Internet’s Lazada Group. Lazada Singapore.

To make payments on Lazada Singapore (which offers products that range from household appliances and consumer electronics to apparel and jewelry), customers need to select the helloPay option upon checkout, choose the Dash payment mode, and log in with their mobile number and PIN.

Singtel claims that Dash has the largest mobile payment merchant network in Singapore with over 20,000 acceptance points, including Watsons, Food Republic, KOI, 7-Eleven and Topshop.

Dash can also be used to pay for ComfortDelGro taxi rides without the usual administrative fees levied by other cashless payment methods and the Dash app has been enhanced with new features including Samsung Fingerprint Scanner and Apple Touch ID authentication to provide a user-friendly payment experience.
