Via the agreement, WorldPay is expected to be able to process any type of mobile payment, such as remote mobile payments, proximity, online and PoS transactions.
CellPoint Mobile’s mPoint service is set to allow WorldPay to offer its mobile payment services, such as remote ordering and payment for Quick Services Restaurants, to the retail and transport industries. As a result, WorldPay’s portfolio currently includes CellPoint Mobile’s mPoint service, as well as the mTicket transport offering and the mRetail product suite.
WorldPay operates in over 40 countries and offers 120 transaction currencies.
In recent news , WorldPay has renewed its contract with fast food restaurants chain McDonald’s. Following the contract extension, Streamline, the retail payment service brand in charge of WorldPay’s face to face payments, is set to process all debit and credit card payment transactions across the 1,200 McDonald’s restaurants in the UK.
