ZTE launches smartphones supporting China UnionPay payment function

Chinese provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions ZTE has entered a mobile payment agreement with China UnionPay, a bank card association, for the cooperation in the fields of mobile payment product development, marketing and risk prevention.

Meanwhile, the group has also unveiled the launch of two smartphones, namely Nubia Z7 and Z7max. Though these two smartphones, users can download UnionPay card on their phones and achieve near-field contactless payment and remote payment.

Currently, card holders of CCB, SDP Bank, Bank of Qingdao and Rural Credit Cooperative of Zhejiang Province are able to use this payment service.
