eCommLink, a prepaid debit processor, has signed a five-year agreement with AllCom, a provider of telecommunications, internet and commerce services. Under the terms of the deal, the former is set to provide AllCom with prepaid transaction processing services for its GenieCard.

The GenieCard is a reloadable Visa prepaid debit card that features reload and transfer options, ATM and POS (point of sale) access, email and SMS notifications and bill payment services. The card can currently be purchased online, but it will soon be made available for distribution through independent retailers as well.

Furthermore, AllCom has recently introduced GenieMessenger Lite messaging product, a communication tool provided to all debit card subscribers.

AllCom's has revealed plans to increase the distribution level of its GenieCard to its existing client base, and to expand its retail distribution network in both the US and Canada.
