Datacard, Mountain America Credit Union team up for instant issuance pilot implementation Thursday 5 November 2009 | 09:08 AM CET

US secure ID and card personalization services company Datacard has teamed up with financial services provider Mountain America Credit Union (MACU) to launch an instant issuance pilot program.

Under the terms of the partnership, MACU is set to employ Datacard’s instant issuance service in order to enhance its existing in-branch card issuance offering. Datacard has thus developed, implemented and supported the instant card issuance software that is to be integrated with MACU’s existing Symitar host system, and is to be interfaced with Pemco, a payment solutions company, for card activation.

For card production, MACU utilizes the Datacard RP90i financial card printer, which offers security features that meet established specifications for the instant issuance of Visa cards. The RP90i card printer delivers full-colour retransfer printing with over-the-edge coverage, enabling the production of specific designs to help build member loyalty.
