Dutch digital security company Gemalto has seen a 5 percent year-over-year increase in its revenue for H1 2010.
Gemalto has experienced a decrease in its profit from operations, totaling EUR 67 million during the H1 2010 compared to EUR 79 million in the same interval of 2009. Moreover, financial results indicate that the company’s operating expenses have grown, reaching EUR 232 million in the first half of 2010 versus EUR 211 during the same period of the last year.
A tendency of decrease has also reflected on the company’s net profit, which shrinked from 8.4 percent in H1 2009 to 7.5 percent during the same period of 2010.
Gemalto delivers digital services for mobile connectivity, identity and data protection, credit card safety, health and transportation, e-government and national security.
