Spa media and marketing company SpaFinder has selected payment and mobile payment services provider Transaction Wireless (TW) as a B2B virtual gift card solution provider.

As a result of the agreement between the companies, SpaFinder will be able to sell virtual gift cards in bulk quantities to its corporate clients worldwide. The latter will be able to distribute the new electronic cards via email, making use of TW’s patent pending wGiftCard technology.

Initially, the wGiftCard service will be introduced in North America and the UK and then be available in France, Italy, Spain and Germany. In July 2009, SpaFinder introduced its new Instant Online Gift Certificates.
