According to the same source, the Airtel Money platform allows customers to pay utility bills, DSTV subscription fees, to shop and pay with Airtel Money in designated shops, transfer money across mobile networks and to undertake banking transactions including paying in-cash and withdrawing cash from the bank and from the automated teller machines (ATMs).
In November 2011, Dream Oval and Airtel Money rolled out an online payment service, dubbed iWallet. Via the iWallet, local merchants are able to expand over the internet and provide individuals across Ghana with their products.
