Alibaba, Dubai Chamber launch portal to boost e-commerce in the region

Chinese e-commerce platform Alibaba has signed a MoU with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and have jointly launched an e-commerce portal to enable online trading for Dubai and regional businesses.

The newly introduced portal will serve businesses across the entire MENA region, highlighting Dubais role as the regions leading business hub and a gateway into and out of Africa. Through the Alibaba.com collaboration portal, Dubai Chamber members will be able to create a virtual catalogue of their products. This will allow them to expand and manage their business wherever they are.
