Allied Wallet becomes an approved Visa merchant agent

Allied Wallet, a provider of e-commerce merchant services and payment processing services, has become an approved Visa Merchant Agent.

Visa Europe has ruled that, starting with 31 of December 2012, banks should only allow merchants to use merchant agents which have been registered and approved by Visa Europe to ensure that agents have complied with security standards.The purpose of the approval process is to encourage online retailers to reduce risk,upgrade data management and protect their merchants from online fraud and data theft.

Founded in 2002, Allied Wallet provides payment processing services for online merchants, enabling them to receive international payments. The company also offers fraud protection services. In recent news, Allied Wallet and international e-commerce services provider X-Cart have teamed up for online payments processing.
