US software development company Anoowa has launched billFLO, an electronic invoicing network which allows small businesses to exchange invoices electronically by connecting vendors' and customers' accounting systems.

Vendors who employ billFLO can send computer-readable invoices to their customers and import the invoices in question into their accounting systems. Businesses which use billFLO can tap early payment discounts due to the fact that bills are electronically remitted to them within a shorter time span than it is the case with paper-based bills.
