South-African retail bank Capitec Bank has selected banking security software development company Entersekt for their transaction authentication application for online banking.

The newly deployed functionality allows the bank clients to authorise online banking transactions. The Entersekt application makes use of certificates on the mobile phone, which encrypts the communication between the client and the bank.

Entersekt was founded in 2008 and it provides an enterprise security platform enabling a secure communication channel between the enterprise and mobile end users.
