eLayaway selects Carbon Credits International for m-payments platform

US online payment services developer eLayaway has selected mobile technology company Carbon Credits International to develop a mobile payments platform.

Under the agreement, Carbon Credits’ technology is set to enable eLayaways application to send order/payment confirmations, enhance customer service functionalities and marketing communications. The increase in member interaction will be managed by the application, allowing customer service to focus on sales and support.

Carbon Credits International is a mobile technology company and mobile marketing agency. Doing business as Text A Day, the company operates a mobile commerce and communication platform for the non-profit community. Text A Day makes campaigns instantly interactive via the mobile phone. This functionality allows customers to conduct business transactions, accept donations and engage in communication campaigns with their donors through mobile devices.

eLayaway is an online payment system which enables consumers to pay for the products and services they want by using manageable periodic payment. Payments are automatically drafted from the consumers designated bank account via Automated Clearing House (ACH) on the modifiable schedule set by the consumer at the time of purchase. In recent news, eLayaway was set to join the Secure Vault Payments (SVP) network and offer SVP to its customer network of over 100,000 members.
