eServGlobal, Nepal Telecom team up for bill payment services

Monday 30 July 2012 15:29 CET | News

French developer of telecommunications software systems eServGlobal has entered an agreement with Asian mobile network operator Nepal Telecom to enable the latter to provide its customers with bill payment services.

The two companies have been working together since 2008 to provide voucher and electronic recharge services. Under the recent agreement, the new bill payment facility implemented by eServGlobal allows recharge point-of-sales agents to process post paid bill payments from mobile users.

eServGlobal develops and implements mobile payment, network services and messaging products for operators in mobile, fixed and IMS network environments. In February 2012, eServGlobal has entered an agreement with global IT services provider Wincor Nixdorf to allow consumers without bank accounts to deposit cash, withdraw cash and manage their mobile money account at ATMs.
