FIS signs contract with Calhoun County Bank, AccessBank

US banking and payments technology company FIS has signed a multi-year contract with US-based financial institutions Calhoun County Bank and AccessBank to integrate FIS core banking platforms.

AccessBank Texas was founded in 2007 and has USD 107 million in assets. By deploying FIS’s core account processing platform, the bank will gain access to back-office automation, enabling the automation of numerous manual processes. In addition to the core platform, AccessBank Texas will deploy FIS EFT and item processing services, which will integrate with the core platform.

Calhoun County Bank has more than US 116 million in assets. Under the terms of the deal, in addition to the core banking platform, Calhoun County Bank will implement FIS document management and TellerElite services.

In recent news, FIS has been selected by Bank Freedom, a subsidiary of US provider of financial services in the prepaid debit card industry PrepaYd, for its mobile offering.
