Dutch credit management organisation IMNederland teams up with e-billing service provider Anachron to launch an interactive online Debtor Service Centre (DSC) in the Netherlands. The DSC aims to provide IMNederland customers with the possibility to visualise, manage and pay overdue debts without any restriction regarding time or location.
Representatives of IMNederland express their hopes that the new online debt centre is to provide the credit management organisation with an effective means to notify debtors on outstanding debt amounts while at the same time cutting back on manual work and optimising collection processes.
The online DSC uses a credit management software called IMpact, which creates a separate login (with user name and password) for each debtor. The login details are then sent by letter to debtors, who can subsequently access the DSC, examine updated overviews of their debts and make online payments via iDEAL, credit card or direct debit. The system thus accelerates the debt collection process and allows IMNederland to reduce its operational costs by eliminating the need to hire debt collection agents.
