JMango deploys Jumios ID authentication, credit card verification technology

Wednesday 18 July 2012 14:37 CET | News

Mobile technology company JMango has deployed the ID authentication and credit card verification technology developed by mobile and online payments start-up Jumio into its mobile platform, thus becoming reseller of Jumio’s verification technology.

As a technology partner, JMango will upgrade and extend the reach of Jumio’s verification technology to mobile operating systems by integrating Jumio’s verification technology into the JMango mobile development platform. The first SDKs developed by JMango will also be released and available in a few short weeks.
Jumio’s verification technology enables online merchants to authenticate customer IDs or verify their credit card with a camera scan using a mobile camera or computer webcam. Requiring customers to display their actual credit card or ID virtually eliminates the risk of fraud.

In recent news, Jumio has launched its mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) dubbed Netswipe Mobile.
