Lucky Strike selects Tabbedout for mobile payments service

Tuesday 16 October 2012 09:09 CET | News

Lucky Strike Entertainment, an operator of upscale bowling lounges in the US and Canada, has selected US-based mobile payment company Tabbedout for the latter’s mobile payment application for iPhone and Android devices that allows consumers to open, view and pay tabs with their phones.

The Tabbedout mobile payment app allows users to store credit or debit card information on their mobile phones instead of on host servers or in the cloud. Consumers can then open and pay their tab from their mobile devices.

Tabbedout integrates with hospitality POS systems and provides service in more than 1000 bars and restaurants across the US. In recent news, Tabbedout has launched a Software Development Kit (SDK) to enable restaurant chains and third party app developers and agencies they work with to incorporate mobile payment functionality into their own mobile applications.
