Montana Department of Revenue launches m-payments app for taxpayers

Wednesday 10 April 2013 09:53 CET | News

The Montana Department of Revenue has launched a mobile payments application to enable state taxpayers to pay their income taxes using their mobile devices.

The department has added the mobile option to its online service Income Tax Express. The mobile format automatically detects the type of device being used to access it and sizes the content for the viewing area of the device.

The service is the result of an alliance between state government and the private sector. It was cooperatively developed and is supported by the Montana Department of Revenue, the Montana Department of Administrations State Information Technology Services Division and Montana Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of eGovernment provider NIC.
